Vatican administrator seeks to restore unity to Church in Guam
June 09, 2016
Archbishop Savio Hon Tai Fai has arrived in Guam, where he will assume control of the Agana archdiocese during a probe into sex-abuse charges against Archbishop Anthony Apuron.
In his task as apostolic administrator, Archbishop Hon Tai Fai said that his top priority would be to assess the needs of the Church in Guam and the problems faced by the archdiocese. He said that he would take "urgent" steps, as necessary, to restore unity to a community that has been shaken by the charges against Archbishop Apuron.
