New book collects speeches by Pope Francis in Cuba, US last year

The Vatican publishing house, Libreria Editrice Vaticana, has released a book-length collection of the public addresses delivered by Pope Francis during his visit to Cuba and the US last year.

The American Pope: Building Bridges to Build peace includes the Pope's speeches in Havana, New York, Washington, and Philadelphia, and his address to the United Nations. The book also includes essays by Massimo Enrico Milone, the religion editor of the Italian RAI network; Paolo Messa of the Center for American Studies in Rome; and Lara Jakes, the managing editor of the magazine Foreign Policy.
