Singapore will welcome over 1200 new Catholics at Easter vigil
March 07, 2016
The Archdiocese of Singapore expects to welcome 1,227 people into the Catholic fold at Easter-vigil services this year.
The new Catholics will be evidence of rapid growth for the Church in the Asian country. The overall population of Singapore is about 5 million, but Catholics currently account for only a bit more than 150,000.
