British PM Cameron shows 'poisonous form of radical moral liberalism,' says Cardinal Pell

British Prime Minister David Cameron has accepted a "poisonous form of radical moral liberalism," Cardinal George Pell writes in his foreward to a new book.

In the foreword to The Nation That Forgot God, by Edward Leigh and Alex Haydon, the cardinal writes:
Cameron has been formed by, or at least adopted, that poisonous form of radical moral liberalism which has sapped the religious vitality of many Christian communities as it endorsed the weaknesses and mistakes damaging, and even destroying, the family.
The Australian cardinal is particularly blunt in rejecting Cameron's claim that Jesus "would favor the gay-rights agenda." The British politician's push for legal acceptance of same-sex marriage, the cardinal writes, is "at odds with the core beliefs of all mainstream Christian churches, including his own."
