New York parishioners charge pastor used church funds to pay homosexual companion

December 11, 2015

Lay Catholics at a parish in New York have brought a lawsuit against their pastor, charging that he has stolen over $1 million from the church, using the money to pay a homosexual companion and to buy drugs.

Parishioners at St. Frances de Chantal church in Throggs Neck allege that Father Peter Miqueli bought a home in New Jersey and rented an apartment in New York for his “sex master.” The lawsuit goes on to charge that Cardinal Timothy Dolan was aware of Father Miqueli’s activities but failed to curtail them.
