Report of planned attack on Bremen cathedral, synagogue

A potential Islamist attack on the cathedral and synagogue in Bremen, Germany, was averted following action by police on February 28, a Belgian newspaper reported.

Numerous police guarded the cathedral and synagogue and searched a local Muslim cultural center, according to the report.

    Right after 9/1/01 it was reported by Peggy Noonan in the WSJ that middle eastern men were observed taking a video of S. Patrick Cathedral from Rockefeller Center across the street. She confronted them before they left in a huff. Check her article in her archives. It appeared on Oct 19, 2001. We can only hope for the best and plan for the worst.
