Pope, Curia conclude Lenten retreat
February 27, 2015
Pope Francis and the members of the Roman Curia have concluded their annual Lenten retreat.
In his brief remarks at the retreat’s conclusion, the Pontiff thanked the retreat master, Father Bruno Secondin, for his preaching, which was devoted to the prophet Elijah, and prayed that the seeds sown during the retreat may grow.
Pope Francis also expressed the wish that each retreatant “leave with a piece of Elijah’s mantle, in hand and in heart.”
