First ‘Life Prizes’ awarded

The Gerard Health Foundation last Friday awarded over $600,000 in prizes to six pro-life activists. Over 1,200 were in attendance, including 500 students. Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham served as master of ceremonies. Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver, the Reverend Dr. Alveda King, Ambassador Ray Flynn, and Professor Hadley Arkes of Amherst College served as members of the selection advisory committee.
