Catholic Recipe: Confectioners’ Icing
This simple icing can be used in a variety of recipes, but is also a companion to St. Barbara's Bread.
Before icing, cool bread slightly. Place bread on wire rack. Slip waxed paper under rack. (This makes for easy clean-up). Mix ingredients thoroughly. With spoon, drizzle icing back and forth across loaf.
