Words to a hymn that can be sung on Marian feast days. The text, 18th century; melody, Geistliche Gesänge, Einsiedeln, 1773.

DIRECTIONS

1. Beautiful, glorious, o'er all victorious,
Lovely, thrice blessed heavenly Queen.
Thy child forever, leaving thee never
Body and Spirit I ever have been.
My life despising, Thee only prizing,
All that I am, that I ever can be
Give I, my Mother Maria, to Thee.

2. Thou art all full of grace, in Thee sin has no place,
Thou, O Maria, Thou only art fair.
And to Thy majesty nothing can wanting be,
All that is perfect and lovely is there.
Vase of election, of all perfection,
Thou art, O Virgin, so wondrously made,
That God Thee chose and in glory arrayed.
