Pope continues meetings with heads of debtor nations

By Phil Lawler (bio - articles - email) | Mar 28, 2014

This week Pope Francis met with the leader of a nation whose proud tradition of democratic government is now endangered by a crippling national debt—a nation whose political leaders have done nothing to alleviate that debt, despite repeated warnings from abroad.

The next day, the Pope met with the president of Greece.

Both funny and sad! On the matter of what is happening to/in the USA, I would suggest a careful read of "Anatomy of the Deep State" by Mike Lofgren. It was posted late in February on Bill Moyer's site. One of the most insightful pieces I have read in a long time. (I dont want to post a link here, just search it).
