strange silence on the right

Not much commentary out there about the Supreme Court decision on the Texas sodomy law. Despite being doomed to repeat history unless we learn from it, a lot of so-called conservatives seem not to have been struck by the fact that we are at the beginning of a trajectory on homosexuality resembling the 30-year one marked by Roe vs. Wade (only it won't take that long this time).
No one back then thought we would be arguing over whether sticking a pair of scissors in the nape of the neck of a child is just fine, and no one now seems to realize how gross what we'll be arguing about real soon will be.
I can't blame Thomas Fleming, therefore, for being a bit rambling in his comments on the matter -- I'm just glad he goes there, and puts his finger on the real issue: only true worship will save us now!
