Scheduling the end of the world

The best Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox theorists on the end times will gather in Mundelein, Illinois, on October 16-18, for a conference on the topic: "The Time is Near: The Apocalyptic Imagination in an Age of Anxiety." I guess we can safely infer that the world won't end until at least October 18.
