At a meeting in Chicago on Monday, a committee of the bishops and the National Review Board reportedly agreed on a framework for continued audits of the dioceses to insure their vigilance in protecting children from child abuse. Justice Anne Burke pronounces herself 'very happy' that this controverted point is resolved.
