Maybe, with an eye to recent Democratic models, he was trying to act "presidential."
BTW, I'm talking about the sexual-indiscretion rumors of 2004, as distinct from those of 1996, 1992, 1988, 1980, and 1960. Does this sort of thing still qualify as "news?"
