Fargo lawsuit is 8th filed against Christian Brother

November 20, 2009

A new lawsuit filed in North Dakota alleges that Brother Raimond Rose, a Christian Brother, abused a male Catholic high school student in 1976. Five suits against Brother Rose are pending in Minnesota, another is pending in North Dakota, and one in California has been settled out of court for $1.1 million.

Brother Rose, who was first accused of abuse in 1966 and lives near a boys’ school in Chicago, has not faced criminal charges.
