CWN Editor's Note: The 54th International Eucharistic Congress will be held in Sydney, Australia, from September 24 to October 1, 2028.
The most recent international Eucharistic congresses took place in Cebu City, Philippines (2016); Budapest, Hungary (2021); and Quito, Ecuador (2024). Sydney also hosted the 29th International Eucharistic Congress in 1928.
