CWN Editor's Note: Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople has added his voice to those urging a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
After celebrating the Divine Liturgy on February 13, the Ecumenical Patriarch said: “The possibility of a new war in Europe, resulting from the escalation of violent rhetoric an militarization of the borders between Russia and Ukraine, should be unequivocally opposed.”
