Former head of Knights of Malta dead at 71

CWN Editor's Note: Fra’ Matthew Festing, the former grand master of the Order of Malta, died on October 12 at the age of 71. The 79th leader of the order, he resigned in 2017 at the request of Pope Francis, when the Pontiff intervened to take over governance of the order after an internal battle.
