Pope treats Rome’s prisoners to gelato

CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis sent about 15,000 servings of gelato to prisoners in Rome’s jails during this summer, the Vatican reports. The treats were delivered to inmates at the Regina Coeli and Rebibbia prisons by the papal almoner.
