Pope prays for victims of flooding in China and blesses Olympics

CWN Editor's Note: Following his July 25 Sunday Angelus address (full text), Pope Francis spoke about the 1st World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly and emphasized the importance of grandparents and grandchildren spending time together.

The Pope then offered prayers for victims of the Henan floods (map), which have killed over 60 people and caused over $12 billion in property damage, and for the Tokyo Olympics, which began on July 23.
