Holy See becomes permanent observer at WHO

CWN Editor's Note: The World Health Organization (WHO) has adopted a resolution granting “permanent observer” status to the Holy See. Vatican representatives, who have been participating in WHO assemblies since 1953, will have the right to join in debates, but not to vote. The Holy See has the same status at the United Nations.
