CWN Editor's Note: Two Catholic churches in Chile were torched during violent demonstrations this weekend. The demonstrations were touched off by a debate over a new national constitution. But the churches—in two separate locations in the capital city of Santiago—were evidently targeted by groups of masked and hooded arsonists who entered the buildings and set fires. Both the Church of the Assumption and St. Francis Borgia Church were badly damaged, possibly beyond repair.
