Irish archbishops ask government to allow return to Mass

CWN Editor's Note: The four Catholic archbishops of Ireland have joined in a plea to government to allow the faithful to return to Mass. In a letter to Taoiseach (prime minister) Micheal Martin, the archbishops say that public celebrations of the Mass “are not simply ‘gatherings’ of people, but profound expressions of who we are as a Church.”
