CWN Editor's Note: The late Father Benedict Groeschel was the most prominent of the eight Capuchin Franciscan friars who founded the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in 1987. Pope Francis has named another co-founder, Msgr. Robert Lombardo, CFR, 63, as auxiliary bishop of Chicago. In 2010, with the approval of Cardinal Francis George, Msgr. Lombardo founded the Franciscans of the Eucharist of Chicago.
