Anglican ordinariate will join Confirmation with First Communion

CWN Editor's Note: Bishop Steven Lopes, the head of the Anglican ordinariate in the US, has announced the sacrament of Confirmation will normally be administered along with First communion. The Anglican ordinariate will join 13 other American dioceses that have moved the usual time for Confirmation forward, in the “restored order” of the sacraments of initiation.
