CWN Editor's Note: During his March 15 Sunday Angelus address (video), delivered in the library of the Apostolic Palace, the Pontiff reflected on John 4:5-42, the Gospel of the day. He also thanked the priests of northern Italy for their closeness to the people and encouraged the faithful to pray and make an act of spiritual communion when it is not possible to receive Holy Communion. Following his address, he looked out on an empty St. Peter’s Square and blessed the faithful around the world.
