Lourdes sanctuary closes pools, prompted by coronoavirus fears

CWN Editor's Note: Officials of the Marian sanctuary at Lourdes have closed down the pools in which pilgrims traditionally bath, as a measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Pilgrims will still be welcome at the sanctuary, with officials saying that they are adopting new measures to screen both pilgrims and caretakers for the virus.

    Have issues with the guidelines. If these are the sacred waters of the Blessed Mother, surely one should not fearit even with coronavirus. One should feel blessed to be in these waters. If new guidelines are to protect those around the pool and shrine then ok.
