CWN Editor's Note: Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor has been awarded the Ratzinger Prize, given annually by the Vatican’s Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI Foundation. Paul Bere, an African theologian, was also honored with the annual prize. Taylor is the author of A Secular Age among other works.
