Psychologist blocked on Twitter for opposing sex-change surgery for children

CWN Editor's Note: An influential psychologist who has been at the forefront of discussions on sexual identity—and who support sex-change surgery for some adults—was temporarily blocked on Twitter after he said that the surgery should not be performed on children under the age of 21. Paul Blanchard, who said that his opinion was based on his clinical experience, was told that he had been cited for “hateful conduct.”
