CCD teacher ousted for support of dissident nun

A 6th-grade religious-education teacher has been removed from her volunteer position in a parish in the Cincinnati archdiocese, after she made a public defense of Sister Louise Akers. Sister Akers, in turn, has been barred from making presentations in the Cincinnati archdiocese, on orders from Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk, because of her support for the ordination of women.
