Los Angeles: nuns promise to repay funds diverted from Catholic school

CWN Editor's Note: The Los Angeles archdiocese has announced that it will not pursue legal action against two women religious who diverted a “substantial amount” of money from a Catholic school for their own private use. The archdiocese said that Sisters Mary Margaret Kreuper and Lana Chang had agreed to restore the funds that they had taken from St. James School in Redondo Beach.
