Chicago archdiocese to pay $2.9 million to another McCormick victim

CWN Editor's Note: The Chicago archdiocese has reached an agreement to pay $2.9 million to a victim of Daniel McCormack, settling another lawsuit involving the former priest, who was laicized in 2007. The archdiocese has now paid close to $15 million to victims of McCormack—who, having served out a prison term, has now been committed indefinitely to a facility for sexually violent offenders.
