The wound has only been opened a little. It must be completely drained before any healing can take place. Cdl Wuerl has this backwards. Confession, repentance, then mercy and healing.

Healing has to include identifying and removal of the entire perverted web of sinful influence from the Church. There can't be any healing if most of the hierarchy, card. Wuerl included, remains under strict omerta.
