Cardinal Nichols speaks only for himself. He does not speak for me, or for many other Catholics in the UK, concerning the status of Jerusalem. I see nothing amiss with the declaration of Jerusalem as being the capital city of Israel, and the relocation of the US embassy to that city from Tel Aviv. If Jerusalem is occupied territory, won by force of arms, then the Palestinians and their Muslim allies must acknowledge that they have no moral right to govern the countries of North Africa.
