He delivered a lecture at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which awarded him an honorary doctorate. “The crisis we are facing today is a spiritual one,” he said. “The essential dilemma of humanity today is not between ‘having religion or not having religion,’ but rather: ‘what kind of religion.’”
