Priest in Bangladesh freed after reported kidnapping; police say report untrue

CWN Editor's Note: A Catholic priest who disappeared in Bangladesh just before the Pope’s arrival there last week is “mentally unstable” and was never kidnapped or threatened, local police say. Church officials remain suspicious that Father William Walter Rozario was abducted. The priest, now free, is staying with his bishop; sources say that he is in “an evident state of shock.”
