Cardinal Parolin: missionary, charitable activities flow from relation with Eucharistic Lord

The Church’s missionary and charitable initiatives flow from a “solid relationship of love with the Lord” in the Eucharist, the Vatican’s Secretary of State said at the closing Mass of an Italian diocesan Eucharistic congress.
Preaching in Cesena on May 29, Cardinal Pietro Parolin said that in receiving Holy Communion, “consciences are shaped, attitudes are changed, and the choices of the disciples are directed.”
