Vatican conference on 25th anniversary of Centesimus Annus

The pontifical foundation Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice is hosting a three-day conference commemorating the twenty-fifth anniversary of St. John Paul II’s social encyclical Centesimus Annus.

The conference, which began on May 12, is entitled “Business initiative in the fight against poverty: the refugee emergency, our challenge.” Speakers include business leaders, the Vatican’s Secretary for Relations with States, and other prelates, including Cardinals Domenico Calcagno, George Pell, and Luis Antonio Tagle.
