‘God loves you personally,’ Pope tells prisoners

Responding to a letter addressed to him by prisoners in Velletri, Italy, Pope Francis asked the incarcerated to “always keep lit the light of the hope of faith.”

“Always be certain that God loves you personally,” the Pope said, as he called upon prisoners to undertake a journey “of growth, of faith and charity.”
