Pope marks anniversary of study center

April 11, 2016

Pope Francis celebrated Mass at the Pontifical Oriental Institute’s Ezio Aletti Study and Research Center on the evening of April 8.

In doing so, the Pope commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Center and the 20th anniversary of its atelier, which encourages collaboration between Catholic and Orthodox artists.

Among the concelebrants at the Mass was Father Marko Rupnik, SJ, the Center’s founder and director.
