March 04, 2016
Father Raniero Cantalamessa, the Capuchin Franciscan friar who has served as preacher to the papal household since 1980, preached a Lenten reflection on March 4 devoted to the proclamation of God’s word.
The four sections of Father Cantalamessa’s sermon, preached in the Pope’s presence, were entitled “the medium is the message,” “words and deeds,” “how to become evangelizers,” and “evangelization and compassion.”
