Prince Charles gives to Catholic charity for Christian refugees in Middle East

January 12, 2016

The Prince of Wales has made a substantial donation to the international Catholic charity, Aid to the Church in Need, to support relief efforts for Christian refugees in the Middle East.

In a December address, Prince Charles called for "practical" support for Christian refugees. It has now become public that he made his own gift to the relief agency at that time.

Good, ACN is an excellent Catholic Charity which always does great work in line with Church teaching. I don't know whether the charity is well known in the U.S. but it has a wonderful history. I hope Prince Charles' donation will help to raise public profile for ACN. Also, they use the money very directly with their contacts in each country.
