American analysts sees acceptance of immigrants as 'suicide of Christian Europe'
August 31, 2015
An American political analyst has charged that Pope Francis is contributing to “the suicide of Christian Europe” by encouraging immigration from Africa.
Speaking to an Italian audience, Edward Luttwak said that the Pope “has been sending the wrong signal since the beginning.” He argued that Muslim immigrants are working toward “the gradual Islamization of Europe.”
“In today’s Europe,” Luttwak said, “I see no will to survive.” He observed that the Roman Empire fell when barbarians from the north of Europe invaded. "Now they come from the south," he said.

1. He erroneously views Europe in monolithic terms. 2. He creates an equally erroneous notion of a monolithic Muslim population bent on subjugating Christians. 3. Who is my neighbor? Is it ok to turn him away and show no mercy because he is of a different faith? Where is compassion and mercy? 4. If history teaches us anything, it is that the future belongs to the migrants no matter how hard some might try to build walls to keep them out. Such was Europe's birth out of Rome.

It's extremely politically incorrect to say this, but Edward Luttwak is absolutely right. The speed of Europe's Islamization is accelerating and in a few decades will be complete. Of course most Europeans don't care, because they're indifferent to religion of any kind. When this indifference meets Islam, however, these Europeans will be in for a rude shock.

Do not blame Muslim immigrants. Europe has largely abandoned its Christian faith. There is a vacuum. If there were a prominent Christian faith in Europe it would draw these immigrants in. There is no match for the grace of G*d when Christians live their faith. When we once again take up the Lord's command and fulfill our mission, then we will see the power of our G*d. "Be not afraid, for I have overcome the world."
