Vatican praise for iBreviary

Msgr. Paul Tighe, secretary of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, has praised the iBreviary, an inexpensive iTunes application that features the Liturgy of the Hours in Latin, English, French, Italian, or Spanish. The application was developed by an Italian priest. The Church “is learning to use the new technologies primarily as a tool or as a means of evangelizing, as a way of being able to share its own message with the world,” Msgr. Tighe said yesterday.
