Social encyclical reportedly stalled as Pope rejects early drafts

For months Vatican-watchers have awaited the appearance of a new papal encyclical dedicated to Catholic social teaching. But early drafts, prepared under the direction of Cardinal Renato Martino at the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, have left the Pope unsatisfied. A 4th draft is now being prepared, reports Sandro Magister.
