Background: ‘Silent genocide’ in Congo

On November 13, the bishops of the Democratic Republic of the Congo warned of a ‘silent genocide’ that is taking place in the eastern and northeastern parts of their nation. An article in the December 7 issue of Our Sunday Visitor analyzes the causes of the killing there.
