Obama team seen ignoring conscience problems with contraceptive-coverage mandate

The Obama administration is poised to issue a requirement that all health-insurance plans must subsidize contraception, notes Kevin ("Seamus") Hasson of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.
The administration has reached this decision after a flawed process in which proponents of contraceptive coverage had every opportunity to promote their views, and opponents were given short shrift. The result is a policy that will violate the consciences of many Americans. But this is not surprising, Hasson writes:
The Obama administration has shown itself to be at best tone-deaf, and at worst downright hostile, to claims of conscience generally.
