SUPPORT OF RELIGION

The duty that a Catholic has to contribute to the support of the parish and other causes of religion, according to each one's means. It is an obligation more than once declared in the Scriptures (Deuteronomy 14:23: I Corinthians 9:14). Its object is that God may be duly honored and worshiped, and the kingdom of his Chruch extended.
