Want to be known as the 'religion of peace?' Act the part.

A spokesman for Egypt’s Al Azhar University says that Pope Francis should proclaim Islam as a religion of peace. I wonder if he would accept this suggestion as a friendly amendment: First, Islam should become a religion of peace. Then the Pope should proclaim it so.
No deal, I'm sure.

The interview was very interesting in how Peterson handled the aggressiveness of the feminist interviewer and illustrated her lack of commonsense and logic.

I don't much about Prof. Peterson's beliefs; I'm pretty sure he isn't Catholic. But in some ways I admire even more the secular writers who come to the same conclusions about people, society, and the world around us as do consistently thinking Christians. They have needed to take the harder path of reasoning everything out, instead of having the benefit of special revelation and the Magisterium of the Church.

Islam has the same problem Protestantism has: lack of a single authority that can define what Islam is. As long as this is lacking, the Muslim on your left hand can be a paragon of peace, while the Muslim on your right hand is trying to slit your throat.

Let's all pray the pope DOESN'T reward this evil ideology with any positive comments at all. Many Catholic prelates since Vatican II have been willing to join the "religion of peace" choir instead of bravely telling the truth, viz. Mohammed was a total fraud. Even use of the word 'holy' in the same paragraph with mention of the Koran is flirtation with deception. To paraphrase a famous leftist, every word of it is a lie, including 'and' and 'the'.
